The QA Test Automation Engineer - III will design and establish quality measures, standards, and tools for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles. This role will function as a liaison or act as a Quality coach between the Quality Engineering and Agile Teams/Delivery teams to assist engineers with the development of software to ensure that design specifications are satisfied from a user perspective. The engineer will assist in formal and informal reviews throughout the software development life cycle and lead quality engineering testing efforts related to cloud testing strategy and efforts. The position requires ensuring that testing activities assess the application's ability to meet business requirements, systems goals, end-user requirements, performance requirements, and security requirements. The engineer will design and develop appropriate test plans, test cases, and story/feature test data to testplex problems or to address specific user requirements. Additionally, they will develop a feature-based testing roadmap schedule, identify testing & development dependencies, and collaborate with business integration and product owners for thorough coverage. The role also involves designing and developing regression testing methodologies, scenarios, risk-based testing strategies, and automation suite, as well as implementing defect prevention techniques & tracking processes and appropriate metrics to ensure that all software meets quality standards. Collaboration with application development personnel and business personnel to plan all phases of application testing including unit, integration, system, regression, load, performance, security, contingency, and user acceptance testing is also required.
