QA Technician

We are seeking a skilled FSQA Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in precision measuring instruments, data collection, quality management, and quality control. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining high-quality standards, we want to hear from you. As a FSQA Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards throughout the production process. Your responsibilities will include calibrating test equipment, performing process checks across various functions such as production, packaging, sanitation, and warehousing, and conducting pre-operational checks, sanitation verification, label checks, net weight checks, and package integrity checks. You will also be responsible for scheduling and executing sample submittals to management, receiving and documenting batch testing results, and providing independent oversight of processes to verify compliance with company standards and policies. Effective communication will be essential, especially when deviations from standards or processes occur. In addition to these responsibilities, you will assist in training employees on food safety, company processes, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Maintaining accurate and organized records of QA activities and an organized inventory of retained products will be part of your daily tasks. You will monitor HACCP critical control points and participate in preparation for third-party safety audits, ensuring ongoing company compliance with applicable regulations and auditor requirements. Conducting research on Quality Assurance issues and delivering reports to management will also be part of your role, along with recommending, championing, and executing program enhancements. FSQA Technicians are required to be flexible and may need to work on a shift rotation as needed.
