About The Position

This is a fast-paced position heavily involved with the mathematical and technical areas. The QA Technician serves as an important supporting member of the Production Team. Schedule: 2:45 pm to 1:30 am

Requirements

• Must possess basic math skills
• Self-motivated individual who requires minimal supervision and direction
• Work in a respectful manner and be a team player
• Steel toed shoes
• Available to work a Monday - Saturday schedule

Nice To Haves

• Food industry or Manufacturing experience is a plus, but not necessary
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Routine sampling and testing of Fresh Express product and materials throughout shift
• Ability to recognize, identify, document and communicate all analytical quality and food safety evaluations, processing checks, and out-of-spec samples
• Confirm adjustments are made to ensure compliance of specifications
• Recheck product following adjustments in order meet the highest quality expectations
• Support leadership in GMP compliance throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned
