About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts daily quality and food safety checks to ensure compliance with customer requirements, product specifications and regulatory requirements. Conducts post-cleaning verification, pre-operational inspection of equipment and facilities and line clearance. Conducts product shelf-life analysis and maintains sample inventory. Collects environmental swabs and prepares samples for 3rd party lab analysis. Reports all product nonconformities and processing issues to Quality and Plant Management, as it relates to product quality and/or food safety. Performs computer data entry and statistical analysis of Quality KPI’s. Ensures compliance to regulatory requirements, SQF, HACCP and GMP activities at all levels of operation. Helps maintaining quality manuals/SOPs, production/processing forms and records to meet established standards per SQF system. Participates in internal food safety audits. Other jobs as assigned by the Quality Management. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Associate degree in science/work experience equivalent. At least one-year experience in quality role in food manufacturing environment. HACCP and/or PCQI certification is a plus Lab experience preferred, but not required. Requirements

  • Associate degree in science/work experience equivalent.
  • At least one-year experience in quality role in food manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • HACCP and/or PCQI certification is a plus
  • Lab experience preferred, but not required.
  • Entry-level candidates can be considered.
