We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA Technician to join our team at Strukmyer Medical in Mesquite, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our manufacturing processes and ensuring that our products are safe and effective for our customers. The ideal candidate will have one year of prior experience in Quality Assurance or Control, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality and attention to detail. As a QA Technician, you will perform product inspections, including visual, functional, and dimensional checks for both raw materials and finished goods. You will conduct a wide range of analytical tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various laboratory equipment. Daily verification of instruments will be part of your responsibilities, as well as performing Quality lot releases after reviewing manufacturing documentation. You will also conduct daily environmental monitoring in accordance with approved procedures for controlled manufacturing environments. In addition to inspections and testing, you will maintain retain samples for incoming, bulk, and finished products, and keep accurate Quality records by reviewing, filing, and scanning documentation. You will initiate nonconformance records and follow appropriate procedures for the segregation of non-conforming products. Reviewing and approving production work orders by checking for any cGMP issues and variances will also be part of your duties. This position requires effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
