The QA Technician will assist with USDA/FDA requirements, paperwork, and floor walkthroughs. The role involves conducting pre-operational inspections and in-process checks, reviewing paperwork to ensure GMP compliance, and supporting new product development through testing, documentation, and ensuring recipe/product specification compliance. The technician will contribute to the creation and maintenance of programs aimed at preventing food safety issues and achieving quality goals. Additionally, the position requires ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, food safety standards, and HACCP program mandates, including training. The QA Technician will maintain company-wide quality procedures and the product specification system, assist management in handling customer complaints and product recalls, oversee weekly testing of plant products and environmental assessments, and review and report on plant quality performance. The role also includes developing and implementing safety programs to minimize employee exposure risks, serving as the safety committee coordinator, organizing safety training, investigating accidents, and facilitating training in quality, food safety, and food manager certification efficiently and promptly.
