The QA Technician position at Eddy Packing Co Inc is responsible for monitoring and verifying product compliance with applicable specifications during the 2nd shift. The role involves ensuring that all product attributes meet processing specifications and adhering to food safety standards.

Set up a workstation and ensure necessary equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
Monitor all product attributes according to processing specifications.
Document applicable HACCP, GMP, and SSOP requirements.
Identify and isolate questionable products.
Make decisions regarding food safety and quality on a daily basis.
Understand and apply written product specifications.
Record data neatly and in an organized manner.
Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders.

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English.
Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to perform basic mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
