About The Position

The Quality Assurance Technician (Private Label) will primarily be responsible for reviewing customer labels against Master templates. It includes helping to archive old files and ensuring that only the latest label versions are used. Key tasks include checking incoming labels for accuracy and consistency and cross-referencing product formulas with labels. The role also involves ensuring that everyone follows label control procedures, investigating label discrepancies, and handling related tasks as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Knowledge of good documentation practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, SOP’s GMP’s, and government regulations.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of Microsoft suite applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times, stressful environment.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Using fingers and palm on an object
Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Average, ordinary, visual activity necessary to inspect, prepare documents and products or operate machinery.
Frequent sitting and occasional walking and standing.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasional bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling.

Prior experience in quality assurance is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Assists with ensuring print media is archiving old files and maintaining only the current label version file.
Checks incoming labeling for accuracy with respect to content, text, spelling and overall aesthetics.
Assists with cross-checking formulas against product labels.
Performs label room audits to ensure only the current label version is in use
Refers to all questionable labels, discrepancies to Quality Management.
Assists in ensuring all personnel comply with label control systems and SOP’s.
Performs investigations discrepancies associated with labels.
Files, Maintains, and scans completed production batch records
Maintains assigned customer portals
Other related duties as required.
