About The Position

The QA Technician at Seaboard Triumph Foods plays a crucial role in ensuring food safety and quality operations within the plant. The technician is responsible for implementing QA/HACCP processes across facility operations and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality for products and services.

Requirements

• Combination of education and experience that enables performance in all aspects of the position is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management personnel and others within and outside of the organization in English.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) are required.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Basic computer skills for generating letters, procedures, spreadsheets, and graphs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the direction, planning, supervision, and control of food safety and quality operations.
• Coordinate the development, training, implementation, and reporting of QA/HACCP processes.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with USDA regulations and requirements.
• Implement requirements for maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
• Perform various FSQA and internal audits, including online inspections.
• Keep accurate documentation using paper forms or electronic auditing platforms.
• Read and interpret corporate product specifications.
• Pull and observe true samples randomly from production processes.
• Learn FSQA monitoring responsibilities for the Kill and Cut side operation.
• Cross-train and rotate to other roles within the department as needed.
