About The Position

The position will conduct inspections and record results on products and facilities. Quality Assurance is a process which requires specific knowledge and skill. Quality Assurance Technicians work across all sectors of manufacturing and are responsible for carrying out checks on products and processes to ensure they meet predetermined quality standards.

Requirements

  • Successfully passed QA Proficiency Exam.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Maintain a good attendance and performance standard.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Optimal organizational skills with a systematic approach to work.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow written instruction and to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to act quickly when there is a problem.

Nice To Haves

  • College education preferred.
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with and support all Food Safety and Quality policies, programs and procedures.
  • Perform measurement and weight control checks.
  • Perform equipment inspections.
  • Perform incoming raw material inspections.
  • Check instruments such as temperature gauges at regular intervals.
  • Ensure that machines are always kept clean.
  • Inspect product labels, MSDS and safe use of chemicals.
  • Record and maintain accurate and detailed records.
  • Ensure GMP's are being properly followed.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
