About The Position

Reporting to the Quality Manager at our Archbold, OH manufacturing facility, you will oversee all quality control activities for all phases of 2nd shift production while partnering closely with operations to uphold food safety, product excellence, and regulatory compliance. You will guide quality technicians, support laboratory functions, manage inspections, and help champion a culture where Quality is everyone’s responsibility. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Coordinate quality assurance activities including audits, training, sanitation evaluation, pest control, and purchasing of quality‑related supplies. Guide and schedule quality assurance technicians and associates, providing technical direction and support. Monitor and verify HACCP plan critical control points following established procedures. Conduct Good Manufacturing Practice and sanitation audits across production areas. Partner with operations teams to address quality and food safety issues and ensure control systems are functioning and followed. Conduct product quality surveillance in manufacturing areas, including potential bacteriological environmental inspections. Perform periodic facility inspections and oversee special inspections for incoming materials and end‑of‑run products. Coordinate the monitoring of packaging lines for weights, metal detection, product coding, and package integrity. Manage product holds, releases, and disposition decisions while following procedures. Evaluate damaged, returned, and incoming products and provide analytical review of quality outcomes. Support resolution of customer complaints through root‑cause analysis and documented follow‑up. Participate in evaluation of new equipment installations or repairs from a quality and food safety perspective. Ingredients Required for Your Success Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field 2+ years of related experience in a food or pharma manufacturing environment. 3+ years of relevant experience plus education in lieu of the educational requirement. 1+ years of supervisory experience Full understanding of Food Safety Guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices. Full understanding of HACCP Plans and their application in manufacturing environments. Familiarity with FDA and USDA regulations. Relocation assistance is available for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science, or related field
