About The Position

The Quality Assurance position at VIZIO is focused on proactive test planning and overseeing the testing of various advanced products. The role involves reporting and tracking issues related to product versions, coordinating with product development and creative teams, and ensuring full product validation through daily audits of test results. This position is part of the LiveOps team, which reviews image and video creatives for adherence to quality standards and creative guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to effectively document and troubleshoot errors.
• Keen eye for detail and patience to track down difficult issues.
• Analytical mind with critical-thinking skills and problem-solving aptitude.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed steps meticulously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across different divisions.
• Ability to drive issues and deliver quality results autonomously.
• Some personal or professional experience in editing images or videos.

Nice To Haves

• Working knowledge of test management software such as TestRail, TestLink, Confluence, and Jira.
• Consumer electronics experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee testing of VIZIO advanced products and report issues related to product versions.
• Coordinate with product development and creative teams through test assignments in TestRails.
• Review and follow up on issues via JIRA and internal processes.
• Audit test results daily to ensure full product validation is performed.
• Execute prepared test plans defined in Test Rails Projects.
• Provide detailed reports of any issues encountered, including steps to reproduce them.
• Act as a support resource for product development and creative services.
• Assist in software and hardware development activities, including installation and testing of software.
• Help troubleshoot issues and communicate device behavior to the Vizio support organization.
• Support general needs of the development organization, including asset setup and assisting the Quality Control organization.
