About The Position

As a QA/QC Technician on the 3rd Shift in the food manufacturing industry, you will play a vital role in ensuring food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the production process. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and collaboration with production teams to maintain high standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred (food science, chemistry, biology, etc.).
1+ years experience in food manufacturing required if lacking a STEM degree.
1+ years of quality control/quality assurance experience within food manufacturing preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures meticulously.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and HACCP principles is beneficial.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of GMP, FDA, HACCP, SQF, and food safety standards.
Experience in laboratory settings and performing inspections and analysis.

Responsibilities

Perform routine quality checks and audits on production lines.
Conduct inspections and swabbing to verify compliance with food safety standards.
Monitor product formulations and specifications to ensure accuracy.
Work alongside production staff to enforce quality control measures.
Maintain clear and accurate digital records of inspections and test results.
Identify and report any issues related to safety, food quality, or production processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance food safety practices.
