About The Position

The QA/QC Tech is a skilled, field-based role responsible for ensuring that installation services (ISO) and/or electrical fit-out (EFO) work meets Accelevation’s quality standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. This position performs inspections, documents compliance, and supports corrective actions across data center projects. Depending on experience, business need, and assignment, this role may support both ISO and EFO scopes or specialize in one discipline.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in construction, field operations, or quality-related roles.
  • Experience working on active construction projects, preferred installation services, electrical work, or a combination of both.
  • Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
  • Electrical code knowledge (NEC) required for EFO assignments; installation standards knowledge required for ISO assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, engineers, and clients.
  • Comfort working independently in active construction environments.
  • Proficiency with construction technology platforms such as Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA training required.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Trade certification, apprenticeship completion, or equivalent field experience preferred.
  • Journeyman Electrician license preferred for EFO-focused assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field inspections on installation services (ISO) and/or electrical fit-out (EFO) work to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA/QC logs, inspection records, test results, and turnover documentation.
  • Identify, document, and track non-conforming work; support field teams in implementing and verifying corrective actions.
  • Support pre-functional testing, commissioning, and system verification activities as applicable to assigned scope.
  • Verify installation details such as labeling, torque values, terminations, clearances, and workmanship meet project and manufacturer requirements.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Engineers, Energy Marshals, and client QA representatives to ensure quality alignment.
  • Participate in safety and quality audits and contribute to lessons-learned and continuous improvement reviews.
  • Utilize project-specific systems (e.g., Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud) to complete checklists, upload documentation, and manage inspection and test reports.
  • Support implementation of project-specific QA/QC plans and company quality standards.
  • Assist with punch list inspections, verification of corrective work, and project closeout activities.
  • Promote a safety-first, speak-up culture on all projects.
