About The Position

The position involves performing inspections and surveillances as directed by Quality Supervision to ensure compliance with the Project Quality Plan, codes, specifications, drawings, procedures, and contract requirements. Inspectors are responsible for generating and maintaining documentation and records of all inspections and surveillances performed. They must only conduct inspections for which they have been qualified through training. The role requires interaction with project team members and management, as well as providing input to Quality Management reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education and certification(s) in quality control.
• Certifications in relevant inspection capacities.
• Knowledge of industry-specific quality control standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform VT/MT/PT inspections (certifiable to ASNT SNT-TC-1a – Level II).
• Hold AWS-CWI certification.
• Understand Contract Requirements.
• Understand Subcontractor(s) Contract Requirements.
• Follow the HSE requirements applicable to work scope.
• Assist with development of project specific quality procedures.
• Assist with development of project specific inspection and test plans.
• Perform and document inspections as assigned.
• Perform and document inspections of subcontractor work as assigned.
• Oversee subcontractor inspections and review of subcontractor documentation.
• Generate NCR’s when required.
