About The Position

Join Miller Electric Company as a QA/QC Assistant Project Manager and support the successful delivery of large-scale projects. In this role, you’ll assist in managing quality processes, commissioning scopes, and documentation while collaborating with project teams to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in construction or electrical QA/QC roles.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to read electrical single-line diagrams and apply NEC standards.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Autodesk, Procore, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6.
  • Familiarity with quality documentation and reporting processes.
  • Mission Critical Project experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing QA/QC and commissioning scopes across multiple sites.
  • Maintain and update QA/QC logs in project management software (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet).
  • Track and log issues as well as coordinate with field leadership to ensure issues are resolved and closed in a timely manner.
  • Verify Material compliance with project specifications.
  • Communicate client requirements to quality and production teams.
  • Assist in reviewing specifications and installation procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with quality standards and report deviations.
  • Collect and compile quality data for analysis and reporting.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action plans for quality issues or non-conformances.
  • Support inspectors, technicians, and electricians with guidance and coordination.
  • Assist in preparing reports for upper management and client updates.
  • Assist in training field personnel on quality standards and procedures.
  • Verify installation compliance with applicable NEC code requirements.
  • Coordinate third-party inspection and NETA testing activities.
