Responsible for the ongoing case review process, the determination of significant data collection needs, and the reporting of that information to facilitate the management of quality outcomes/research for the Division of Clinical Research & Outcomes at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. This includes data collection for both internal and national registry databases, report generation and project review from the current Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute data systems. The Clinical Quality Coordinator works collaboratively with the physicians, management and staff to facilitate the provision of quality patient care and improve patient care delivery processes as well as to promote and facilitate research and publication of significant patient care improvements. This individual serves as a liaison to the hospital wide Quality Management Department. Estimated salary range for this position is $72779.20 - $96796.34 / year depending on experience.

  • Ongoing case review process management.

  • Associates in Science required.
  • Registered Nurse license.
  • 3-5 years clinical experience in Critical Care and/or Interventional Services.
  • CITI Training is a must.
  • Strong clinical background in critical care/cardiac/cath lab.
  • Experience in chart review or data analysis.
  • Current or past ACLS certification.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects systematically.
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and team building skills.
  • Ability to work independently in high volume areas.
  • Skills in using word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • BSN in Nursing highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's in health related field accepted.
  • Clinical Study Coordinator Certification preferred.
  • National certification preferred (i.e. CCRN, CPHQ).
