  • Perform nondestructive inspection of welds under the guidelines of ASNT SNT-TC-1A and Section V of the ASME Code.
  • Meet all necessary requirements to hold Certification for Liquid Penetrant (PT), Magnetic Particle (MT), and Visual Testing (VT).
  • Accumulate and record Nondestructive Inspection hours.
  • Inspect and record nondestructive results in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A and applicable procedures.
  • Perform and record in-process inspections throughout the company.
  • Interface effectively with various departments to communicate the quality status of jobs.
  • Operate proper measuring and test equipment in accordance with departmental procedures.
  • Initiate corrective measures through established systems for non-conforming products.
  • Assist Quality Assurance Manager in special projects or systems development.
  • Monitor and enforce the Quality Control Manual and other relevant procedures.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the calibration process and perform calibration activities.
  • Perform random inspection activities at a frequency determined by the Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Investigate and document possible root causes of in-process deficiencies and propose preventative measures.
  • Preserve and maintain nondestructive testing results and report them to management.
  • High School diploma or GED, or at least 1 year working experience in an industrial-based environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet team expectations.
  • Understanding and support of company policies and procedures.
  • Basic understanding of computers and ability to read blueprints.
  • Good communication skills and professionalism with internal and external customers.
  • Work experience in a related industry is an asset.
