QA Line Technician - 3rd Shift

About The Position

This position will conduct necessary testing throughout all facility production processes, maintaining the record of test results received. This position will enable Quality management to make in-process adjustments with the goal of achieving the required end product specification.

Requirements

Education: Associate’s degree preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: One year experience in a juice processing and/or bottling environment preferred.
Able to work any shift, overtime and any or all days of the week in accordance with plant needs.
Understanding of required analyses and proper use of lab equipment.
Excellent communication skills.
Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree

Responsibilities

Inspection of raw fruit.
Operation and calibration of lab equipment.
Performance of tests on production lines, in-process product, and finished product.
Collection of samples in support of all relevant programs.
Communication of out-of-spec results to relevant stakeholders, implementation of corrective action.
Maintenance, organization, and sanitation of QA responsible areas, including but not limited to lab, throughout shift.
Creating and maintaining complete, accurate records of all testing performed.
Performance of sanitation inspections throughout the facility and on incoming tankers.
Pumping and flushing of juice to production lines.
Quality, GMP, and Food Safety auditing. Ensuring SOPs are adhered to.
Additional responsibilities as required.
