About The Position

The E2E QA Lead position seeks a highly motivated and experienced individual with a strong background in e-commerce and automation. The role involves leading and mentoring a QA team, defining and implementing E2E QA strategies, driving automated test suite development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of QA experience, with 3 years in a leadership role, and proven expertise in e-commerce processes, test automation tools (such as UI Path or similar RPA/dedicated test automation platforms), and Jira. Familiarity with AI concepts for QA improvement is also required.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in Quality Assurance.
  • 3+ years leading QA teams (3+ individuals).
  • Proven E-commerce domain expertise (E2E processes).
  • Proficiency with test automation tools (e.g., UI Path or similar RPA/dedicated platforms).
  • Proficiency with Jira for test management.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with projects from inception as the QA Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Rapidly assess project scope, potential impact, and identify affected workflows and systems from the initial stages.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective testing strategies.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to the QA team regarding testing approach, scope, and resource allocation.
  • Define and implement comprehensive E2E QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for e-commerce platforms.
  • In collaboration with QA leads, estimate testing effort and define what needs to be tested, prioritizing based on impact and risk.
  • Design a balanced testing approach combining manual and automation efforts.
  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of robust and efficient automated test suites and frameworks.
  • Oversee the execution of automated tests and analyze results to ensure product quality.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency using tools like UI Path
  • Oversee the entire testing lifecycle, from initial planning to execution, defect logging, tracking, and resolution.
  • Monitor and report on key QA metrics, test progress, and product quality to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution of identified issues using tools like Jira.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance where applicable.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements in QA processes, methodologies, and tools.
  • Explore and leverage AI concepts to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering professional growth and a culture of continuous improvement.
