QA Lead (Product Track)

Eleken
Remote

About The Position

We're a small product studio running 3–4 SaaS products simultaneously (CRM platform, design agency platform, and two other tools). The team is lean — small dev squads per product, no dedicated product or QA function today. This is the first process-oriented hire and a high-impact role. We're looking for someone who enters through QA but grows into product management. Day one, you own quality and process across multiple products. Within 6–12 months, you're effectively a product manager for at least one of them. This is NOT a traditional manual QA role. We need someone who cares about why something is being built, not just whether it works.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in QA, product ops, or a junior PM role at a software/SaaS company
  • Experience with Linear, Jira, or similar project management tools
  • Strong written communication in English — bug reports, specs, async updates
  • Highly organized with a natural drive to create order from chaos
  • Sense of ownership — treats the product as their own, doesn't wait to be told what to test
  • Comfort working across multiple products simultaneously without hand-holding
  • Interest in growing into a product management career (not a career as a QA tester)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SaaS or B2B products
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms or design/agency tools
  • Basic understanding of APIs — enough to check network requests when debugging
  • Experience writing test cases or simple automated checks (Playwright, Cypress — not required but a plus)
  • Previous experience in a startup or small team where they wore multiple hats

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Linear boards across multiple products — triage, prioritize, and keep backlogs clean
  • Perform manual QA and exploratory testing across web-based SaaS products
  • Define and enforce a "definition of done" for each product
  • Write clear, reproducible bug reports with context on severity and user impact
  • Build lightweight QA processes — checklists, regression flows, release readiness criteria
  • Act as the first filter between "reported issue" and "dev priority"
  • Participate in product discussions — challenge decisions, flag UX issues, suggest improvements
  • Gradually take ownership of product roadmap input, feature specs, and stakeholder communication

Benefits

  • Flexible working hours
  • Paid vacations and sick leaves
  • Fully remote
  • Co-working space compensation
  • Finance Support (we take care of tax payments and accounting for you)
  • Employee referral bonus
  • Internal Educational activities (Eleken Talks, Design Feedback, Lectures from the team members)
  • Reading Club and corporate library
