  • Conduct physical, thermal, or performance tests on components and grills, as required.
  • Conduct compliance testing on grills, as required.
  • Conduct or supervise software testing on grills and devices, as required.
  • Create, develop, and improve testing and validation methods to align with new product innovation.
  • Coordinate company wide calibration activities.
  • Execute dimensional layout, PPAP, & In-process inspection as required.
  • Perform scheduled/routine upkeep on lab & lab equipment.
  • Able to maintain resources and conditions for 1 area of the lab.
  • Document and provide timely feedback back after completion of inspection work orders.
  • May create solutions to problems found during testing.
  • Create and present test results effectively. Make conclusions and recommendations to project teams.
  • Root cause analysis & corrective action reporting.
  • Create RFQ's and business case for new test equipment.
  • Develop & revise Work Instructions, Procedures, Control Plans, or other documents as required.
  • Mentor and train Quality Technicians/ Inspectors.
  • Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality Management system (ISO).
  • Apply lean six sigma, 5S, and other methods to deliver consistent incremental improvements to test and lab processes. Leading 3-4 improvement projects annually.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
  • Ability to read & interpret engineering drawings.
  • Well versed in various measurement and test instruments.
  • Ability to write CMM programs from prints and CAD is a plus.
  • Detail oriented with good analytic skills with common sense approach to problem solving.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills with good understanding of math.
  • Ability to objectively review quality data.
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic and team-oriented work environment.
  • Work independently with minimal daily supervision.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
