The QA Lab Technician is responsible for ensuring product quality and food safety by gathering and analyzing finished product samples according to customer specifications and HACCP requirements. This role involves identifying non-conforming products and food safety issues, investigating problems, and recommending solutions. The technician will conduct routine floor audits of production and packaging areas to confirm correct product shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling, and coding. They will complete multiple quality analysis tests and communicate with operations and warehouse staff regarding product quality and approval details. Maintaining accurate documentation, preparing marketing samples, and performing inspections of incoming ingredients and outgoing finished goods are also key responsibilities. The technician will work with department managers and company leadership to proactively identify and implement solutions and continuous improvement opportunities in areas such as safety, food safety, quality, productivity, and sanitation.
