Basic knowledge of soft drink operations and SPC is preferred, but not required. Must exhibit ability and desire to work within a team but can work alone. Works with minimal supervision, be a self-starter who leads by example, and be dependable. Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC).

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
• Conduct testing processes and procedures to perform physical and analytical product quality tests on finished syrup and beverage, inspect raw materials, and perform microbiological testing.
• Use laboratory test equipment and apparatus to conduct tests.
• Run control drink on finished syrups to ensure taste and quality.
• Maintain files and test results, record corrective procedures, control reports and supporting data in accordance with prescribed procedures.
• Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
• Ensure accuracy of equipment through calibration and documentation.
