About The Position

$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available (For Externals Only) QA Lab Coordinator Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 7:30AM-4:00PM PST This position ensures that the laboratory maintains inspection readiness at all times. Pay Range: $45.29 - $76.99 / hour Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Requirements

  • Minimum of 4-5 year’s progressive experience as a scientist/medical technologist in a clinical laboratory which includes at least 2-4 years of high complexity testing and associated methodologies for the applicable position being applied for as a California State Licensed or Limited License Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with supervisors, co-workers and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong typing skills desirable.

Responsibilities

  • In coordination with management, ensures that departmental standard operating procedures and database are regularly updated to accurately reflect current processes.
  • Coordinates internal and external proficiency testing activities.
  • In coordination with management, oversees department training and competency programs.
  • May perform job responsibilities equivalent to a Licensed Scientist, as needed.
  • Complies with all health and safety policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Required to use personal protective equipment.
