About The Position

We are CURRENTLY seeking a phenomenal Quality Lab Tech to join our growing team! To provide administrative support for ongoing product testing to ensure Customer Compliance. Key Responsibilities What does a typical day look like? I'm glad you asked! Perform quality checks on incoming material Incoming C of A Supplier Verification based on incoming product quality checks Prepare C of A’s based on lab testing and forward to the appropriate Customer base Outgoing C of A verification based on CGT Lab verification testing Internal production releasing based on in process data review Perform monthly audits with corrective action follow-up (as necessary) Conduct flammability testing on all automotive material Collect and file all process paperwork Input production test data into the proper format for Customer submission Compile SPC test data for all special and / or critical characteristics Retain and itemize test records, specimens, and lot retain samples Assemble and retain production packages for PPAP and master source submissions Other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge and Expertise What You Offer Us:

Requirements

  • 3 years working in a Quality Lab role in an Automotive / Manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of SAP in work environment
  • Knowledgeable in SQC pack with a broad understanding of SPC
  • Experience with working in an ISO/TS 16949, ISO 140001 environment
  • Ability to work independently while meeting the required timelines
  • Ability to understand testing standards, complete analytical testing, interpret data and write technical test reports
  • Exposure to working in a lab environment with knowledge of physical properties
  • Needs to be a team player with exceptional Organizational skills

Responsibilities
