About The Position
The QA Inspector is responsible for ensuring outgoing freight meets quality and accuracy standards before shipment. This role involves inspecting products, verifying shipping requirements, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting investigations related to shipping issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work collaboratively with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Committed to maintaining a safe work environment
- Verify freight to ensure quality products are shipped accurately
- Ensure all special shipping instructions are followed
- Maintain inspection paperwork with no discrepancies
- Assist with investigations related to shipping issues as needed
- Strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Team-oriented and able to work with multiple departments
- Excellent work ethic, including punctuality and attendance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Quick learner with strong aptitude
- High attention to detail
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Some background in logistics preferred
