About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all products produced meet the customer's visual and dimensional requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing operation desirable. Minimum 12 months' experience preferred.
• Must be able to instruct operators how to use all functional gages.
• Must be able to read and understand measuring devices (i.e., measuring tape, square, etc.)
• Prior experience with hand tools is desired.
• Must have thorough verbal and written communication skills to accurately describe quality conditions.
• Must be organized and able to operate with some degree of independence.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints/work instructions.
• Positive attitude, willingness to cooperate with others.
• Must be able to work individually or as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check parts for visual and dimensional defects in all production departments.
• Check in process inspection paperwork / IPC sheets.
• Communicates potential discrepancies and process control problems and writes up non-conformance reports if necessary.
• Report all issues to department leads and supervisors.
• Works with other Quality department employees, production employees (Operators, Leads and Technicians) and production Supervisors.
• Other duties as required by supervisor.
