Requirements

  • Experience in a related field of study.
  • Experience in a lab environment is preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to be in a work environment with a noise level that is usually moderate.
  • Working knowledge of computers.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to read drawings and schematics.
  • Must be able to work in both a team environment and independently.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a 'U.S. Person' as defined under ITAR and EAR.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for in-house vibration, mechanical shock, temperature cycle, temperature shock, humidity, HALT/HASS and salt-fog testing IAW Mil-Std-810 and Mil-Std-202.
  • Responsible for coordinating all outside environmental testing of product at other testing facilities.
  • Generate and maintain quality records resulting from testing.
  • Generate cost estimates of testing as part of internal cost workups.
  • Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly condition.
  • Generate and maintain internal QA procedures and other duties as assigned.
  • Regularly lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Working in a work environment where the noise level is usually moderate.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
