About The Position

Conduct manual and automated testing to identify defects and ensure the software meets requirements. Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure quality Create comprehensive testing plans and strategies to ensure thorough testing coverage. Conduct manual and automated testing and analyze the results to identify defects. Identify and implement improvements to quality processes to enhance product quality and efficiency. Regularly evaluate processes and products to identify areas for improvement. Work closely with development, product, and other relevant teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the product lifecycle. Clearly communicate quality standards and expectations to the QA team and other stakeholders Stay up to date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies and contribute to improving testing processes. Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology with expertise in test automation or backend application development
  • 4 to 5 years of people management experience including hiring, onboarding, coaching, mentorship and performance management.
  • Ability to Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to cover various aspects of the software, including functionality, performance, security, and usability
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
  • Strong technical abilities and comfort working with various software programs
  • Knowledge of various programming languages, depending on the project
  • Written and verbal communication skills to successfully share their testing results and make recommendations
  • Ability to work well as part of a software development team
  • Familiarity with testing processes, including creating a test plan and opening bugs
  • Ability to handle fast-paced environments with tight deadlines
  • Hands on experience in automating backend REST services including writing custom functions using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, Ready API etc.
  • Hands on experience of working with continues integration tools such Jenkins, Circle CI
  • Able to independently create and maintain automation test jobs using tools such as Jenkins.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and evolving technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
