We are part of the Evansville Local Labor Union 561, and we are located at 1515 Park Street, Evansville, IN. The QA Coordinator is located in Evansville, IN, and reports to the Quality Manager. This is a plant within our Meat division and has around 130 employees and runs 24/5. This position is Monday thru Friday, day shift position. Prepares reports and analyze information at various stages of production process and records statistical data to determine and maintain quality, reliability, and safety of products. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports and graphs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelors Degree in Biology/Chemistry a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • General knowledge of data analysis
  • High attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
  • Flexibility to change priorities
  • Ability to work independently (unsupervised)
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare microbiological/analytical certificates of analysis including gathering and sending product samples for testing, faxing or e-mailing COA's to customers, updating and maintaining COA distribution lists.
  • Preparing certificate of analysis using SAP and/or Excel
  • Ingredient sampling and shipping to R & D
  • Enter new products in laboratory Excel and SAP systems
  • Maintain R D commercialization log
  • Create new control standard bottles
  • Maintain list of products that require micro and distribute
  • Product Releases
  • Data Entry and trending. File documentation
  • Maintain product microbiological results
  • Support Monthly environmental program
  • Prepare and ship daily UPS packages
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned by QATM(s) and/or including laboratory bench work and data entry
