About The Position

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Biological Safety Laboratory team in Pendleton, South Carolina (AMISC) is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations at AMISC. We are searching for an intern pursuing a chemistry, biochemistry, or other laboratory science degree to support the BSL team at AMISC. The successful candidate will prepare and document laboratory validations with guidance from the BSL staff. The individual will perform various analytical chemistry test methods (Viscometry, Chromatography, Titrations, etc.) and will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these test methods. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner. This internship will run from May 2026 – August 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 30-40 hours per week at our Pendleton, SC facility.

Requirements

• Progress towards a college degree in related field required, preferably in Chemistry.
• Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.
• Basic Laboratory Skills: Pipetting, solution preparation, dilutions, use of analytical balances, etc., preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft software products.
