About The Position
"Navitas Partners, LLC" is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support enterprise-level QA automation initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable automation frameworks for Windows UI and web-based applications , driving efficiency and quality across the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Strong experience in QA automation framework design and implementation
- Hands-on expertise with Windows UI automation and web automation tools
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Experience with SQL and relational databases
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD integration and test management tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERP applications
- Exposure to transit or scheduling systems (e.g., HASTUS, Trapeze)
- Knowledge of performance/load testing tools
- Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities
- Ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement in QA processes
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for Windows UI applications , with extensibility to web platforms
- Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define automation strategies and tool selection
- Develop automated test suites (functional, regression, smoke) for Windows and web applications
- Integrate automation with test management tools, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting systems
- Define and enforce QA best practices, coding standards, and test design methodologies
- Implement data-driven testing, logging, reporting, and configuration management
- Optimize test execution through parallelization and performance tuning
- Evaluate automation tools and technologies; build POCs and perform ROI analysis
- Support cloud-based testing environments (AWS/Azure) and SaaS applications
- Develop SQL queries for data validation and backend testing
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure testable requirements and risk-based coverage
- Extend automation to include web UI testing (e.g., Selenium) and load testing tools
- Produce documentation, training materials, and mentor team members
