About The Position

Corpay is currently looking to hire a QA Automation & DevOps Engineer within our Stored Value Solutions (SVS) division based in Louisville, Kentucky. In this role, you ll be a hands-on Developer / QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, reliability, and well-engineered delivery pipelines. This role blends software development, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on preventing defects early and shipping stable, repeatable releases. You ll work across development, QA, and operations to design robust automation, strengthen testing strategies, and continuously improve how software is built, tested, and deployed. If you enjoy breaking systems before users do, automating everything you can, and making pipelines predictably reliable-this role is for you. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of QA experience
  • Strong experience as a Software Developer or QA Automation Engineer with a quality-first mindset
  • Proven experience designing and maintaining automated test suites
  • Solid DevOps experience, especially CI/CD pipeline ownership
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • Jenkins
  • GitLab (Ultimate preferred)
  • CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
  • Familiarity with cloud or containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes a plus)
  • Comfortable working across development, QA, and operations teams

Nice To Haves

  • Monitoring and observability tools (like Datadog)
  • Security-minded testing and pipeline hardening
  • Exposure to AI-driven tooling or intelligent automation

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end)
  • Partner with developers to define test strategies early in the development lifecycle
  • Identify edge cases, failure modes, and system weaknesses before they reach production
  • Advocate for quality standards, test coverage, and automation best practices
  • Reduce manual testing through thoughtful, maintainable automation
  • Write clean, testable, production-grade code
  • Build test utilities, frameworks, and tooling to support QA efforts
  • Participate in code reviews with a focus on testability, reliability, and maintainability
  • Own and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab Ultimate
  • Integrate automated testing into build and deployment workflows
  • Manage build, test, and release automation
  • Implement best practices for version control, branching, and release management
  • Collaborate on deployment strategies and environment consistency
  • Support monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting production issues and root cause analysis
  • Continuously improve pipeline performance, stability, and feedback loops
