U.S. Bank is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst with demonstrated project management and process improvement experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Participates in the quality assurance process following procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements. Recognizes and identifies areas where quality assurance policies and procedures need to be changed or developed and documents those standards. Conducts project reviews and complex process audits and assists in major audits/reviews of projects and subcontractors. Ensures deliverables meet audit criteria. Interfaces with clients to ensure that systems are developed which meet their business need and specifications. Evaluates and reviews products and processes. Provides status reporting to Quality Assurance and site management and involves senior management, as needed, to resolve deficiencies or compliance issues in a timely manner. Communicates and endorses strict adherence to methodologies, processes, and standards and monitors adherence on an ongoing basis. Works on problem resolutions and reports progress to management. Maintains contact with customers, when required, to ensure project quality expectations are understood and met. Reviews status of quality assurance initiatives and collaborates with other IT managers to ensure quality objectives are being attained. Oversees multiple quality assurance projects which include development, installation, and maintenance. Assists in planning and estimation of Quality Assurance support for new programs and projects. Develops, publishes, and implements test plans to ensure quality applications and writes, maintains, and automates software testing. Senior level QA Analysts may manage a small staff of employees and schedule and prioritize work and activities to meet target schedule, quality, scope, and cost objectives, as well as direct, motivate, and develop staff as a team.
