As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for writing test plans and performing manual executions of testing across a variety of software products. Testing results must ensure all quality, compliance, functional and security requirements are met. You will also maintain documentation of test configurations and operational procedures in order to report results to the project team and assist in the diagnosis and replication of product success and failures. This position supports the Retail Technology Operations team as a QA Analyst doing manual in-person testing. Giant Eagle has both Supermarket and Gas/Convenience locations and we have several different types of POS systems from traditional checkout with cashiers, Self-Checkout, mobile POS, fuel pumps, and Restaurants. There are also many other interfacing applications and systems like the Made To Order kiosks, car washes, Pharmacy, etc. We are a Toshiba POS ACE customer and we do our own development as well on that platform, therefore testing will involve vendor packages and in-house developed code. We are currently using JIRA/Zephyr for test plan management and practice agile methodologies. The testing will be done in person in our POS lab that has all of the various checkout points described.
