About the position
The QA Analyst role is focused on ensuring the quality of software applications through both manual and automated testing. This position requires a strong background in Quality Engineering, with a specific emphasis on developing automation scripts and frameworks. The role is hybrid, allowing for a combination of remote and on-site work in either Atlanta, GA or Boca Raton, FL.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
- Create and maintain automation scripts and frameworks from scratch using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Maven.
- Perform functional testing, unit testing, and regression testing on web applications.
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate test data.
- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and Ready API, including Smoke Testing for web services.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience, including manual and automation testing.
- 3+ years of experience developing automation scripts and frameworks from scratch using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and Maven.
- Experience with POM (Page Object Model) and TDD/BDD methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience writing basic to mid-level SQL queries for test data validation.
- Experience testing web applications in a multi-tiered architecture.
- Strong experience in writing and updating test cases and automation scripts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Azure, CI/CD, Docker, etc.
- Familiarity with CoPilot.
