The Quality Inspector position is crucial to maintaining the high standards of quality that CTDI is known for. This role involves auditing and testing equipment that is being repaired at a bench level, ensuring that all repaired products pass inspection before they are returned to service. The Quality Inspector will work closely with Line Management to identify any deficiencies in the repair process and document these findings accordingly. In this role, the Quality Inspector will be responsible for performing qualification tests on the workbench, conducting product inspection activities, and executing quality audits on both in-process and final products. The inspector will also perform basic electrical tests and interface with installers and section heads to ensure that all quality standards are met. Maintaining satisfactory quality performance levels is essential, and the inspector will be expected to document any cited product deficiencies and conform to all aspects of the Quality Assurance Manual. A clean and organized work area is also a requirement of this position, as it contributes to the overall quality and efficiency of the inspection process.
