Inspector will coordinate quality control activities to ensure compliance with standards and specifications, while facilitating continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support the implementation and upkeep of the organizations quality systems.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and product enhancement in support of maintaining continuous process improvement.
  • Conduct qualification tests and utilize statistical techniques to create charts.
  • Effectively communicate and transfer knowledge to others, utilizing various training methods and techniques to ensure understanding and proficiency.
  • Coordinate with various departments to resolve quality issues and enhance overall product quality.
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Follow warehouse safety regulations.
  • Perform all other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection roles, or an equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
  • Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.
  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Knowledge of computer programs for entering data, including MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills.
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation.
  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection roles.
  • Ability to guide team members towards achieving organizational goals.
  • Time-management skills.
  • Eagerness for continuous learning.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
