About The Position

We are seeking a Python, Django Developer to work on federal engagements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software engineering, particularly with Python and Django, and will be ready to learn cloud technologies as needed. This position requires a strong understanding of cloud security and compliance environments, specifically AWS Gov cloud, fed ramp, and IL5 compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of experience in Python
• Experience in Django & Nginx
• Exposure to AWS Gov cloud and cloud security
• Exposure to fed ramp & IL5 compliance environments

• Ready to learn cloud technologies if needed

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust and scalable applications using Python language
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints
• Develop, test, and debug Python applications and scripts
• Collaborate with other developers, designers, system admins, and customers
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs to improve application performance
