About The Position
Pepperdeck is looking for Engineers who care deeply about quality and aim to build technology that people will love to use. You will get to work across the entire Pepperdeck application stack at our San Jose offices. Staying in tune with the startup culture, there is never a standard day. Your work routine will change rapidly as we grow. Expect an all-hands-on-deck experience and an opportunity to take on leadership roles as we expand.
Requirements
- Extensive experience building Python-based web apps.
- Very familiar with Django and PostgreSQL.
- Able to write readable and well-documented code.
- Work with several APIs including Stripe and Twilio.
- Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience.
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with configuring and securing an Ubuntu server.
- Can scale apps with caching, load balancers, and CDNs.
- Dealing with several DNS mapping challenges.
- Some history of entrepreneurial exploration.
