About The Position

We're excited to welcome a PX Generalist to our Elizabethtown, PA fulfillment center to support the growth and daily operations of this dynamic warehouse. As our PX Generalist, you'll play a key role in overseeing a wide range of activities and programs, including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, compensation, team member development, and engagement. This people-centric role is based full-time onsite in E-town with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and approaches their work with a positive, customer-focused attitude. Requirements

  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience
  • Knowledge of Local, State and Federal labor laws
  • SHRM-CP or similar certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse (ATS) and ADP (HRIS) is a plus
  • A positive service delivery attitude as a company ambassador and employee advocate
  • Self-motivated to work independently to solve problems and create solutions to new or complex challenges
  • Strong customer management skills, sound judgment with the ability to build trust with employees, leadership teams and colleagues at other Grove locations
  • Approachable with outstanding communication skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and open to change

Responsibilities

  • Support a growing fulfillment center in all aspects of Human Resources in close partnership with the Operations leadership team and Senior Manager of People Experience
  • Ensure a welcoming and high touch employee engagement experience with timely communication and following up with outcomes
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations issues and employee development
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development
  • Attend and participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
  • Own recruitment activities to support the hiring needs of the warehouse
  • Track and maintain leaves of absence, workers compensation, OSHA reporting
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training; this may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and PIT certifications
  • Work closely with Team Member committees to plan engagement opportunities
  • Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
  • Assist with annual open enrollment process, including making group presentations and distributing, and receiving materials and forms
