The Wealth Planning and Insurance Strategist (WPIS) works with the Wealth Management Advisor to develop and acquire new client relationships, typically those with a net worth above $10MM, and assists with client discovery. The WPIS also collaborates with wealth management specialists to deepen and broaden relationships with existing clients. This role serves as a subject matter expert in various areas including financial planning, insurance products (in conjunction with Financial Advisors), estate and income tax planning, multigenerational wealth planning, business succession planning, family governance, and trust and fiduciary advisory, with a particular emphasis on Risk Management. The WPIS is expected to independently provide solutions for clients' financial status using advanced tax, wealth transfer, business structure, and protection strategies, and to facilitate the implementation of these strategies with both internal and external advisors. The Risk Management aspect of the role involves analyzing and mitigating a wide range of financial and personal risks faced by wealthy families, such as estate liquidity, creditor (asset protection), personal security, property and casualty loss, reputation, lifestyle protection, employment practices, and insurance needs assessment.
