The PwD Accessibility Tester role at Diverse Lynx LLC is focused on evaluating digital products, including websites and applications, for accessibility from the perspective of users with disabilities. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in conducting thorough accessibility assessments using various tools and methodologies. The tester will utilize screen readers and magnification tools to ensure that products meet the necessary accessibility standards and guidelines, particularly the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). In this role, the tester will provide actionable feedback to product teams, highlighting accessibility issues and suggesting improvements based on established guidelines. Participation in usability testing sessions is also a key responsibility, where the tester will focus on product navigation and interaction specifically for users with visual impairments. The tester will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed accessibility documentation, including reports and guidelines tailored to the needs of product teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WCAG guidelines and the ability to apply them effectively during product reviews. Proficiency in using screen readers such as JAWS and NVDA, as well as magnification tools like ZoomText, is essential for this position. Experience in usability testing, particularly for users with visual impairments, is also a critical component of this role.
