About The Position

The position involves operating and maintaining heavy equipment, including bulldozers, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks. The operator will be responsible for clearing drainage ditches, cutting roadways, and performing manual labor as required. The role may also include supervising small crews and preparing various paperwork related to work reports and evaluations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Four years preferred experience or four (4) years as Equipment Operator.
• Must possess a valid Class 'A' Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Drives, operates, maintains and adjusts heavy equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, graders, and dump trucks.
• Clears and digs drainage ditches, cuts roadways, and performs other manual labor as required.
• May work alone or supervise small crews including equipment operators.
• Prepares a variety of paperwork using automated or manual sources such as work reports, timesheets, evaluations, and mileage tickets.
