About The Position

The Manufacturing Process Engineer at Texas Instruments is responsible for driving continual improvement in manufacturing operations. This role focuses on developing and implementing improved manufacturing methods, procedures, and processes to enhance efficiency, yield, and quality in a high-volume semiconductor fabrication environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • 5 years relevant experience in PVD
  • Experience with Cu sputter on AMAT Endura platform
  • 300mm Semiconductor Fab experience

  • Strong foundation in statistical process control, engineering change control, and process release strategies
  • Capable of using and creating SharePoint site content and Spotfire Reporting tools
  • Understanding of LineWorks SPACE for SPC data management
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery

Responsibilities

  • Support manufacturing operations
  • Develop and implement improved methods of manufacturing, procedures, and processes that result in improved efficiencies, yields, machine operations, and quality
  • Implement project or improvement plans for areas of responsibility including efficiency improvements, cost reduction, quality improvement programs, and new product support
  • Perform lot and equipment dispositions to support continuous production flow and minimize cycle time in a 300mm wafer Fab
  • Identify systematic problems in process or equipment and communicate findings to the engineering staff
  • Support manufacturing ramp with execution of equipment/process startup and process experiments
  • Participate in data analysis and problem resolution
