The ideal candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, pulling orders, stock-fitting shelves, loading and unloading trucks in the warehouse and yard, and ensuring the product is secure and safe. They will also be responsible for the team, ensuring they are all fully trained and able to perform the job correctly. Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Confirm accuracy of loads: Responsible for double-checking shipments before they leave the facility in the coordinator's absences. Use UPS/Fed Ex online shipping software to prepare outbound shipments. Enter data into shipping and receiving logs and complete shipping paperwork. Ability to process all paperwork, including bill of lading and packing list with generally accepted products. Assume a leadership role when the manager is absent. Able to work on new assignments as required. Loading of PVC Pipe and Fittings onto flatbeds and LTL vans. Unloading flatbeds and LTL vans of packaged materials, totes, drums, and palletized items Inspect incoming and outgoing loads for completeness and damage; verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents. Ensure that all product receipts are labeled correctly and stored in the correct location. Utilize proper shipping procedures and packaging for transportation. Maintain good housekeeping for a safe, clean, and productive work environment. Maintain knowledge of safe storage and handling procedures for various chemicals and raw materials Assure the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse and storage yards. Monitor inventory accuracy and initiate cycle counts as necessary. Responsible for the training of Shippers and Loaders at all levels All other assigned duties
