About The Position

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the arena and convention center’s Food & Beverage warehouse, ensuring the accurate, timely, and safe movement of products for multiple concessions, catering events, bars, and premium spaces. This role supports purchasing, inventory control, and event-driven distribution while maintaining documentation and operational standards. Performance directly impacts service quality, cost control, event readiness, and safety metrics.

Requirements

  • Previous food and beverage experience, preferably in entertainment, sports, hospitality, or high-volume venues.
  • Experience in purchasing, inventory management, and stock control.
  • Strong computer and Excel skills (spreadsheets, inventory tracking, reporting).
  • Ability to lift/push/pull heavy items and work in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.
  • Night, weekend, and event-based availability is required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.

  • Management or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises warehouse staff and ensures all functions, procedures, and safety protocols are carried out efficiently and in accordance with operational standards.
  • Oversees the receiving, unloading, staging, and distributing of F&B merchandise, including food products, beverages, disposables, and equipment.
  • Verifies and documents product counts, quality, expiration dates, and any discrepancies or damages.
  • Coordinates timely delivery of products to concessions, catering kitchens, bars, suites, and event locations; ensures proper documentation and signatures for all transfers and receipts.
  • Maintains organized, sanitary, and compliant food/beverage storage areas; ensures proper temperature control, FIFO rotation, and prevention of spoilage or cross-contamination.
  • Monitors stock levels, manages par inventories, processes restock requests, and supports purchasing by forecasting needs based on event schedules and volume.
  • Tracks and reconciles inventory using warehouse management system (birchstreet); maintains accurate logs, spreadsheets, and digital documentation.
  • Ensures warehouse cleanliness, safety, and equipment maintenance; reports and resolves hazardous or unsafe conditions promptly.
  • Supports ordering, vendor coordination, and scheduling of deliveries to ensure product availability for high-volume event days.
  • Trains, directs, and evaluates warehouse associates; assists in scheduling and staffing based on event calendars.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the Food & Beverage operations for arena and convention center events.
