Responsibilities
- Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials and services.
- Works with purchasing, quality and engineering to assist in the resolution of supplier related issues.
- Performs supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Evaluates supplier’s internal functions to assess their overall performance and provides feedback to all departments involved.
- Develops and maintains the internal supplier rating and reporting system.
