About The Position

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement activities of raw materials, supplies, equipment, or services for the division.
• Identify raw material requirements based on production specifications and operational schedules.
• Determine cost-efficient and reliable materials for the manufacturing process.
• Establish preferred supplier selection criteria based on evaluations of price, quality, delivery, and compliance with regulations.
• Promote and utilize strategic suppliers effectively.
• Interview, select, and negotiate with suppliers to address material requirements and cost issues.
• Develop and implement crisis management and supplier backup contingency programs.
• Benchmark best practices among suppliers and maintain accurate measurements for evaluation.
• Ensure purchases align with division strategies and departmental budgets.
• Integrate electronic interfacing throughout the purchasing function.
